3 needle Bind Off
(or Binding Off Together)

This technique is used to bind off two things (usually shoulders) together and at one time. It is my favorite way of binding off since I don't really like grafting shoulders together.

You should have 2 needles with the same number of sts on both needles.

  1.

Line up your needles so they are parallel and the right sides of the work are facing. Hold these two needles together in your left hand.

    2.

Hold a third, larger needle in your right hand. Insert it into the first stitch on each needle and knit them together as one.

    3.

Knit the next stitches on the left needeles together.

    4.

Now pass the first stitch you made (on the right needle) over the second one.

Repeat until you have finished all the sts. (Knit one more stitch onto the right needle, pass the old one over)

Huh? I don't get it... send me a question
